The Future of the Joshua Tree 55 Bike Ride

12/12/2023 News Release from City of Twentynine Palms Website:

The annual Joshua Tree 55 Bike Ride is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. It’s a beautiful scenic ride that starts at Knott’s Sky Park and travels up to Keys View in Joshua Tree National Park. In 2023, 400 cyclists took part in the ride from all over the country.

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department is excited to continue their partnership with Joshua Tree National Park to provide one of the best cycling experiences in Southern California. In order to continue offering a quality ride for cyclists to enjoy and participate in, it has been decided to postpone the annual ride to Saturday, February 1, 2025. During this next planning period, the Parks & Recreation Department will be working closely with Joshua Tree National Park staff and their volunteers to organize a memorable ride for all come 2025.

The Parks & Recreation Department appreciates everyone’s support of the Joshua Tree 55 Bike Ride and hope to see everyone back in 2025! Registration will begin in September 2024.
